Human interest depicts the person in an interactive, emotional or unusual situation. It also expresses the feeling of a time and place; portray a land, its people, or a culture in its natural state.

“In Human” captures everyday life. These moments can be found everywhere, even in simple ordinary events such as a mother holding her new baby, farmers harvesting grain under the noonday sun, a dejected pianist siting on a chair ready to play again after a tough day.

One may have only a rare chance to paint an important fleeting moment.

Impelled by the desire to fully see transformation and bring to life the fun and joy in a child, Charlie's Art Gallery partnered with Victory Kids, a non-stock, non-profit organization. Starting from the humble group of 35 kids, they have now reached around 165 in the span of one year by keeping in line with its goal to reach the whole city and eventually the whole Negros for God by training the next generations of world changers to Honor God and Make Disciples. Victory Kids has helped children by teaching them to honor and love their parents; coaching them how to live a life of integrity and excellence; and casting a vision bigger than themselves - that it’s possible for them to have the best because Jesus gave his best.

Like any painting that transcends time, place and people - this year’s art exhibit will likewise raise funds to invest in a bigger and better venue that would fan the faith of kids to dream big by giving them a first-class experience and image of God’s faithfulness, which grabs their attention and rests in their memories forever.
