Visual artist Rodney Segura Martinez is best known for his seascapes, figurative women and children series but this time, his offering is a colorful nature adventure because to him, painting is an unending search, the journey must go on... one must always continue.

He borrows a phrase from Paul Klee, "What is important is The Way; after all, Becoming is more important than Being."

He aims to discover and explore new possibilities in terms of form, color, texture and techniques while immersing in the creative process. It gives him the inspiration to create new forms that are derived from the subjects he favors and so this trip has produced a fresh kind of idea in totally new creations.

After more than 20 solo exhibitions and a good number of group shows, Martinez is adept at multiple mediums and shows mastery in watercolor, pastel, oil, pen and ink, be it on paper, canvas, wood and resin, among others. He is a prolific artist with hundreds of creative outputs in a long art career that spans decades.
