Italia presents Negros’ very own Moreen Austria in her latest solo exhibition entitled Stories to Tell opening this Saturday, November 12, 5PM at Italia Restaurant.

Austria, considered as one of the city’s most promising and serious female artists has been known for her mother & child paintings, her gentle depictions of women in their bent heads and colorful halos. Her recent works shown in Stories To Tell takes on a new turn as she injected male figures with her women. In “Luna’s Love,” Austria’s “signature woman” floated with her guy in a dreamlike fashion set in a starry night backdrop that seemed to have been frozen in time.

This is just one story.

The entire exhibition which marks Austria’s versatility and maturity as an artist, will take you to a different time and place, like walking through different stories. The show will run from November 12 through November 30.
